This route was executed
by the famous banana-boats in the past. Guadeloupe island with its golden
beaches has all the tropical attractions with its perfumed forests, its volcanic
lands and its cliffs hanging over the ocean.. « The island of flowers
», Martinica, native country of Joséphine de Beauharnais, will
charm you by its magnolia perfume and the colours of exotic plants and people’s
clothes. Departure once a week. If you take the whole voyage from/to Le Havre,
port of calls will be profitable to you as they are quite long (between 24
and 72 hours) and with the advantage of not packing and unpacking your suitcase. Four vessels recently built, with all modern
conveniences for passengers : Fort St. Louis, Fort Ste. Marie, Fort
St. Georges and Fort St. Pierre.
Every cargo takes 12 passengers. Cabins
have a sitting room with a fridge, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a couch,
