This route was executed by the famous banana-boats in the past. Guadeloupe island with its golden beaches has all the tropical attractions with its perfumed forests, its volcanic lands and its cliffs hanging over the ocean.. « The island of flowers », Martinica, native country of Joséphine de Beauharnais, will charm you by its magnolia perfume and the colours of exotic plants and people’s clothes. If you take the whole voyage from/to Le Havre, port of calls will be profitable to you as they are quite long (between 24 and 72 hours) and with the advantage of not packing and unpacking your suitcase. ports of Latin America, the colonial port of Cartagena de Indias. Without
passing the Canal, you will continue to Moin, the big banana exporting port
